P2P Terms of Use

Last Updated: 27.05.2025

1. B-Tech Wallet Peer-to-Peer (P2P)

These Terms of Use (the "P2P Terms") form a legal agreement between B-Tech Wallet P2P market ("we" or "us") and you ("you" or the "User"). These P2P Terms explain how you can use the B-Tech Wallet P2P service, which you can find in a specific part of the B-Tech Wallet application.

By using B-Tech Wallet P2P, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agreed to all of these P2P Terms.

2. Overview of B-Tech Wallet P2P

2.1 What B-Tech Wallet P2P Is

B-Tech Wallet P2P is a platform that lets you directly trade digital assets (like cryptocurrencies) with other users. Here's how it works: a Seller agrees to send digital assets to a Buyer for a set price, and the Buyer agrees to accept those assets and pay a specific amount of regular money (called fiat currency). These trades are based on the actions taken by both the Buyer and Seller on our platform. You can use B-Tech Wallet P2P to either buy or sell digital assets.

2.2 Our Role in Transactions

It's crucial to understand that we are not involved in your transactions. When you trade on B-Tech Wallet P2P, you're dealing directly with other users, not with us. Also, B-Tech Wallet P2P is not a payment processor, bank, payment institution, internet acquirer, or money services business.

2.3 Service Availability and Guarantees

We provide access to B-Tech Wallet P2P "as is." This means we don't offer any explicit or implied guarantees, including that it's fit for a particular purpose or of merchantable quality. We can't promise that your access to B-Tech Wallet P2P will be uninterrupted, or that there won't be delays, failures, errors, omissions, or loss of data, even if these issues are caused by third parties.

3. Market Rules

To ensure a fair and secure environment for everyone on B-Tech Wallet P2P, please adhere to the following rules:

3.1 Account and Payment Method Usage

You may only use a B-Tech Wallet account registered in your own name to participate in B-Tech Wallet P2P. The payment methods you use must also be registered under your name and match your B-Tech Wallet account details. Third-party payments are strictly forbidden on B-Tech Wallet P2P.

3.2 Transaction Communication

All communication related to your B-Tech Wallet P2P transactions must take place exclusively within the designated transaction chat and should always maintain professional etiquette. Failure to follow this rule may result in sanctions against your account.

3.3 Prohibited Content in Ads and Chat

It's against the rules to advertise other goods or services, or to mention the names of other services in your advertisements or within the transaction chat.

3.4 Sharing Personal Information

You cannot provide or request personal information or contact details from other users unless it's absolutely necessary to complete the transaction itself.

3.5 Impersonation

Do not use language in the transaction chat that could make other users believe you are a representative of B-Tech Wallet P2P (e.g., "Admin," "Moderator," "B-Tech Wallet").

3.6 Misuse of the Platform

It is forbidden to use B-Tech Wallet P2P's technical features for fraudulent purposes, to gain unfair advantages, or for any other activities that violate the rights of other users or B-Tech Wallet P2P.

3.7 Seller's Responsibility for Payment Methods

If you, as a seller, choose a payment method linked to multiple accounts, you confirm that you have full access to all associated accounts and their details. If a buyer accidentally sends funds to the wrong account, you agree to cooperate in returning the funds to the buyer.

3.8 Our Right to Take Action

You acknowledge that we can, at our sole discretion, take various actions, including limiting, suspending, or ending your access to B-Tech Wallet P2P, or even locking Digital Assets in your account for a period.

3.9 Confidentiality of Actions

Our decisions to limit, suspend, terminate your access, or lock Digital Assets may be based on confidential criteria crucial to our risk management and security. We are not obligated to disclose the details of these procedures, especially if an investigation is ongoing (by us or a third party like the police).

3.10 Prohibited Payment Methods

Using ATMs or any physical, in-person cash exchanges are prohibited as payment or settlement methods for transactions on B-Tech Wallet P2P. All fiat transfers must be completed electronically as indicated in the specific advertisement or offering.

4. Selling Digital Assets

As a Seller, you have two ways to sell Digital Assets on B-Tech Wallet P2P: you can either create your own offer (an "Advertisement") or accept an offer made by a Buyer (an "Offering").

4.1 Creating an Advertisement (Your Own Offer to Sell)

To publish an Advertisement, you need to provide the following details:

  • Type of Digital Asset: Specify which digital asset you want to sell.
  • Amount: State the quantity of digital assets you're selling.
  • Price: You can set a fixed price or a floating price (a percentage relative to the current market price).
  • Payment Method: Indicate how the Buyer should send you the fiat currency.
  • Other Terms: Include any additional terms for your Advertisement. You can also add a comment, but it must follow these Terms of Use.

Here's how it works once your Advertisement is live:

  • No Changes After Acceptance: Once a Buyer accepts your Advertisement by sending an "Order" (indicating the amount they want to buy) and you confirm that Order, the transaction terms cannot be changed.
  • Responding to Orders: If you don't respond to a Buyer's Order more than five times, your Advertisement will be removed. If you fail to respond to an Order when creating a new Advertisement, your access to B-Tech Wallet P2P will be blocked.
  • Payment Details: Your payment details will only be shared with the Buyer after you confirm their Order. Do not put your payment details in the comment section of your Advertisement.
  • Confirming Receipt and Releasing Assets: Once you've received the fiat currencyfrom the Buyer, you must confirm its receipt by pressing "Confirmed" in the B-Tech Wallet P2P platform and then release the Digital Assets to the Buyer. Once the Digital Assets are released, the transaction cannot be canceled. You are entirely responsible for verifying that the Buyer's payment has gone through. To help with this, the Buyer will send you a receipt confirming their fiat transfer.

4.2 Accepting a Buyer's Offering

If you choose to accept a Buyer's Offering:

  • Select the Offering: Find and select the Offering you want within B-Tech Wallet P2P.
  • Confirm Sale: You'll need to specify the amount of Digital Assets you want to sell and then click the "sell" button. Clicking this button means you accept the terms of that Offering, and your payment details will automatically become available to the Buyer. The Offering is considered accepted once the Buyer confirms their purchase.
  • Wait for Payment: You must then wait for the fiat currency to arrive in your designated payment account. You are solely responsible for verifying that the Buyer's payment has been successfully transferred. To assist you, the Buyer will provide a receipt confirming the fiat transfer.
  • Confirm Receipt and Release Assets: Once you've received the fiat currency, you must confirm its receipt by pressing "Confirmed" in the B-Tech Wallet P2P platform and then release the Digital Assets to the Buyer. Remember, once Digital Assets are released, the transaction cannot be canceled.

4.3 Digital Asset Locking

You understand and agree that when your Advertisement is accepted by a Buyer, or when you confirm a purchase via an Offering, the specified amount of Digital Assets will be locked. This means the locked Digital Assets cannot be used in any way until the Order is canceled, the Offering is revoked, the transaction is otherwise canceled by both parties, or the Digital Assets are released to the Buyer after both the Buyer and Seller confirm the fiat currency transfer.

5. Buying Digital Assets

As a Buyer, you can acquire Digital Assets on B-Tech Wallet P2P in two ways: by accepting an existing Advertisement from a Seller or by creating your own Buying Offer (an "Offering").

5.1 Buying via an Advertisement

When you want to buy Digital Assets through a Seller's Advertisement:

  • Create an Order: You need to specify the amount of Digital Assets you wish to buy, staying within the limits set by the Advertisement. By creating this "Order," you automatically agree to all the terms and conditions outlined in the Advertisement, so be sure to read the comments section carefully.
  • Send Fiat Payment: Once the Seller accepts your Order, you must send the corresponding amount of fiat currency (regular money) to their payment details. These details will become available to you after the Order is confirmed. Remember, you are responsible for any transfer fees associated with sending the fiat currency.
  • Avoid Unauthorized Payment Details: Never send fiat currency to payment details found in the comment section of an Advertisement. Doing so could lead to the permanent loss of your funds.
  • Canceled Transactions: If you and the Seller agree to cancel a transaction, you may request the return of your fiat payment, minus any applicable transfer commissions (which you will cover).
  • Single Payment & Receipt: You must send the fiat payment in one lump sum using the exact payment method and details provided after order confirmation. To verify your transfer, you must upload a receipt confirming the transaction, which will then be shared with the Seller.
  • Exact Amount: The fiat amount you send must precisely match the amount stated in the Order. The Seller may specify if the amount should be without decimal places.
  • Mark as Sent: After you send the fiat payment, you must mark the transaction as "sent" within the B-Tech Wallet P2P platform before the time limit expires. If you don't, the Seller's Digital Assets will be unlocked, the transaction will be canceled, and you risk not receiving your Digital Assets and losing your fiat payment.
  • Risk of Loss: Understand that if a transaction is canceled after you've already transferred the fiat currency, you may not receive the Digital Assets and could lose your fiat payment.

5.2 Buying by Placing an Offering (Your Own Buying Offer)

If you prefer to create your own Offer to buy Digital Assets:

  • Create Your Offering: You'll need to set up an Offering on B-Tech Wallet P2P, including:
    • The kind of Digital Asset you want to buy.
    • The amount of Digital Assets you'd like to acquire.
    • The price you're willing to pay (either a fixed price or a floating price based on the current market).
    • Your preferred payment method and any other relevant terms for your Offering.
  • Seller Responses: Once your Offering is published, Sellers will be able to submit requests to sell to you, indicating the amount of Digital Assets they have or their fiat currency equivalent, all based on the terms you set in your Offering.
  • Transfer Fiat: After you accept a Seller's request, you must transfer the fiat currency amount to the payment details they provided with their request. This process follows the same rules as described in clauses 5.1.
  • Upload Receipt: To verify your fiat transfer, you must upload a receipt confirming the transaction, which will be shared with the Seller.
  • Receive Digital Assets: You will receive the Digital Assets once the Seller confirms they have received your fiat payment.
  • Buyer Fees: Currently, we do not charge Buyers any fees. However, we reserve the right to add fees at our sole discretion at any time.
  • Responding to Seller Requests: If you don't respond to a Seller's request more than three times, your Offering will be deactivated. If you continue to ignore Seller requests after creating a new Offering, your ability to create future Offerings on B-Tech Wallet P2P may be limited.

6. P2P Express

6.1 What is P2P Express?

P2P Express is a feature that allows Buyers to create offers (which we also call "Offerings" in this specific context) that aren't publicly listed on the main B-Tech Wallet P2P Offering list.

6.2 How P2P Express Works

When you use P2P Express, your Offering will be automatically matched with existing Advertisements posted by Trusted Merchants on B-Tech Wallet P2P. This matching is done to find you the best available price based on your chosen payment method.

6.3 Important Considerations for P2P Express Buyers

Please understand that by using P2P Express, your Offering will be automatically connected to the Advertisement with the most favorable price for your preferred payment method. You won't be able to see all available Advertisements on B-Tech Wallet P2P, nor will you have the option to manually select which Advertisement your Offering is matched with. However, as the Buyer, you're not obligated to proceed with a purchase and can cancel the transaction at any point before you transfer the fiat currency.

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Our Role in Disputes

We want to be clear: we are not involved in the actual trade of Digital Assets between Buyers and Sellers. This means we have no right or obligation to resolve disputes between you and another user, and we are not responsible for any losses you might experience from a completed transaction.

7.2 Our Appeal Mechanism

We offer an appeal mechanism through the B-Tech Wallet chat, but please understand this is solely a mediation channel for users. It is not a promise or guarantee from us that we will resolve your dispute. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to B-Tech Wallet P2P for users who are uncooperative during an appeal, attempt to unfairly profit, or behave inappropriately. If you have multiple ongoing appeals related to an Advertisement you've posted, you might lose access to some or all of B-Tech Wallet P2P.

7.3 Dispute Resolution Timeline

Generally, we strive to resolve disputes as promptly as possible, but we don't guarantee any specific resolution period. We may also extend the dispute resolution period indefinitelyat our discretion, without prior notice to you.

7.4 Requesting Additional Evidence

We may ask for additional evidence from both parties involved in a transaction dispute. This evidence could include, but isn't limited to, a video of the full mobile app login process, a bank statement, a bank receipt of the completed transaction, and identity verification. All evidence must be provided in its original, unedited form.

7.5 Your Responsibility to Provide Information

You must provide all information requested by our support team. If you fail to do so, your use of B-Tech Wallet P2P may be restricted, or other sanctions may be applied to your account.

7.6 Handling Underpayments

If a Buyer sends less fiat currency than the amount specified in the Order, the Seller will have the option to release a proportional amount of Digital Assets corresponding to the actual amount of fiat received. However, the Digital Assets received by the Buyer will be lockeduntil the Buyer contacts our support team and provides any requested information.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Risks of P2P Transactions

When you use B-Tech Wallet P2P, you accept that there are inherent risks involved with these types of transactions. These risks can include, but aren't limited to, the fluctuating prices of Digital Assets, the reliability of the other users you're trading with, and potential legal risks. You are entirely responsible for your investment decisions, and B-Tech Wallet cannot be held liable for any losses you might experience.

8.2 Payment Methods

The payment methods you see listed on B-Tech Wallet P2P are simply options for transferring fiat currency during your Digital Asset trades. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, we don't have any relationship with these listed payment methods. Just because a payment method is available on our platform doesn't mean we recommend, vet, or endorse it.

8.3 Limitation of Our Liability

You agree that, to the fullest extent allowed by law, we won't be held responsible for any losses, damages, or lost profits you might experience from P2P transactions or from using B-Tech Wallet P2P. This includes losses due to things like hacker attacks, power outages, or technical failures.

8.4 Account Restrictions

We reserve the right to immediately restrict, suspend, or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without giving you prior notice.

8.5 Changes to These Terms

We may make changes and improvements to these Terms of Use from time to time, at our discretion. By continuing to access B-Tech Wallet P2P after these changes have been made, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the updated terms.

8.6 No Investment Advice Provided

You need to understand that your use of B-Tech Wallet P2P is completely your own decision, based on your personal financial situation and understanding of the risks involved. Neither we nor any third party are connected to these factors.

All services we provide to you are on an "execution-only" basis, meaning we simply carry out your instructions. B-Tech Wallet P2P does not offer any investment advice, and you cannot ask us to provide it for any transactions. We are not obligated to give you any investment advice whatsoever.
